Great Ellingham Parish Council has vacancies for four Councillors. If you have an interest in local issues and are willing to represent your community, please contact the clerk for further information.
This is a voluntary role and training can be provided. The Parish Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month and meetings usually last for around an hour and a half.
To qualify, you must be 18 years old or over, be a UK, Commonwealth or EU citizen and must meet one of the following four conditions:
- You are registered in the parish as a local government elector.
- You have occupied as owner or tenant any land or other premises in the parish for the previous twelve months.
- Your main or only place of work during the previous twelve months has been in the parish.
- You have lived in the parish or within three miles of the parish boundary for the previous twelve months.
